Troubleshooting
Problem
IBM Glossary Anywhere search dropdown list is not automatically updated when you add terms in Information Governance Catalog. For example, when you start typing 'ma' in the search box in IBM Glossary Anywhere, a list of matching results is displayed. When you create a new term named 'mail address' in Information Governance Catalog, and type 'ma' in IBM Glossary Anywhere search box again, term 'mail address' is not included in the search results.
Resolving The Problem
To resolve the issue, choose one of the following methods:
- To include newly created terms in IBM Glossary Anywhere search results, after typing first letters, press Enter.
- In version 11.5.0.2 and later, you can change the time interval at which the search result list is updated with new terms. In the
config.ini
file, add theUpdateAutoSuggestInterval
setting. Its value is expressed in minutes. The default value is60
. Decrease the value according to your needs. For details, see Configuration parameters in the config.ini file.
