* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The following abend may happen during   *
*                      remote BIND COPY or remote BIND DEPLOY: *
*                        ABEND04E RC00E2000F DSNSVSFB +0846    *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
DB2 incorrectly calculated the length of a large SQL statement
which may cause a one byte storage overlay of the storage
trailer during the remote BIND COPY or BIND DEPLOY process.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • DB2 has been fixed to calculate the storage length correctly
during the remote BIND COPY and remote BIND DEPLOY process.
