Error description
Summary: ********* Performing diffmerge (in Rhapsody 7.6.1) on Linux corrupts package. Description: ********** It is observed that when trying to perform a base aware merge using diffmerge of Rhapsody 7.6.1 on Linux, the resultant merged package is not correctly completed, rendering the model corrupt. Below are the steps to reproduce the reported behavior: 1. Run diffmerge.exe on the attached model files (Service_prelsv4.sbs and Service_gen.sbs) as shown below: ./diffmerge.exe -abort -base Service_base.sbs -out Service_merge_right.sbs Service_prelsv4.sbs Service_gen.sbs 2. Start the merge from GUI. Resolved the merge conflicts (choose 'take from right') and Save. 3. Create a new rhapsody project and 'Add to model' the merged sbs file (Service_merge_right.sbs). 4. Browse to Packages -? Service -? ServiceSm -? Statechart -? States -? Initialising -? Statechart and open it. 5. You will see arrows is the diagram pointing to nowhere (Please refer to the attched screenshot.png). The original package (.sbs) files and the resultant merged package (.sbs) file are attached for your reference.
