  • DFS2499W INVALID ALLOCATE REQUEST FOR DATABASE PHDAM#1 FOR
REASON 2 ID41
IIUB082E DBRC AUTHORIZATION ERROR: DBD=PHDAM#1 DDN=PHDAM#1A
  CODE=05 RC=24
If all DDs for the 1st partition are coded in the JCL, DFS2499W
is issued during the DFSDBAU0 process because IB unallocated
only the DSG-A DD before that.

Local fix

  • We do not recommend coding HALDB/PSINDEX DBDS DDs in the JCL.
