Error description

  • After APAR PM52711 is applied, when running batch programs in
    IMS V9 or V10 environment with DBRC=Y and STEPLIB DD which
    concatenates library of LIU, LIU Integrity Checker causes
    ABENDS0C4.

    * USERS AFFECTED: IMS Library Integrity Utilities for z/OS,    *
    *                 Version 2 Release 1 (FMID=H27P210) users     *
    *                 who use the Integrity Checker and the        *
    *                 Consistency Checker.                         *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After APAR PM52711 is applied,          *
    *                      Integrity Checker gets ABEND0C4 in the  *
    *                      FABLRTS0 module in Consistency Checker  *
    *                      or a batch program under IMS V9 or V10  *
    *                      environment.                            *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
    ****************************************************************
    After APAR PM52711 is applied, when running a batch program with
    Integrity Checker under IMS V9 or V10, Integrity Checker causes
    ABEND0C4 because IMS version check process does not work
    correctly in FABLRTS0 module.
    
    This problem occurs in following batch programs:
    
     - Consistency Checker with CHKRECON=YES in the SYSIN data set.
     - Batch program which uses DSPURX00 internally with STEPLIB DD
       which concatenates library of IMS Library Integrity
       Utilities and DBRC=Y specified.
    
    This error occurs under the following conditions:
    
     - Under IMS V9 or V10
     - APAR PM52711 is applied
    

Problem conclusion

  • The following module has been fixed to check IMS version
    correctly.
