Question

How to report on IBM Rational DOORS data via the IBM Jazz Reporting Service (JRS)?

Cause

There are strong integrations between Rational DOORS and Rational DOORS Next Generation (DNG) and other IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) products therefore need to be able to generate reports using all the data. DOORS Web Access provides web access to the DOORS data so is the DOORS data available in the Data Warehouse?

Answer

This is now possible using JRS 6.3 and Rational DOORS 9.6.1.7.

Integrating Rational DOORS and Jazz Reporting Service

For previous releases the DOORS and JRS data is not available in data warehouse for JRS.

You can always use IBM Rational Publishing Engine to report on DOORS, DNG and CLM data.
