Error description

  • The unload from an image copy ( COPYDDN option ) fails after
    the following message was issued:
INZRE41 PAGE NO. nnnn IN LDS NO. nnnn OF PAGESET xxxx IS NOT
      A VALID DB2 PAGE

This can occur if the following conditions apply:
    - the image copy contains a compressed table space
    - the physical sequence of the dictionary pages is not the same
as the logical one (situation which have been encountered
      with non IBM image copies)

In one case the unload failure was followed by an ABEND0C7
    and subsequent ABENDU1017.

After the fix for PM85601 has been applied
    (v4.1 PTF UK95404 and PTF v4.2 UK95405 ), the unload from an
image copy (COPYDDN) of a compressed tablespace can fail after
having issued messages such as the following:

INZRE41 PAGE NO. ppp IN LDS NO. nn OF PAGESET spacename
IS NOT A VALID DB2 PAGE

and sometimes may end with ABENDS0C7.
