Error description
Attributes that should be editable in the AWAY Database (where the ReqIF file is imported) remain Locked ? cannot be edited. Steps to reproduce: ----------------------- 1.? Create a Module M1 and create a new Attribute (say Text) A1 2.? Add the newly created Attribute to the Standard View of the Module and save it as a new View say V1. 3.? Create another View in the Module which contains only one column corresponding to the newly created Attribute A1. Name it as V2. 4.? Create a new ReqIF Definition by using the Module M1, Lock Attributes, select V1 in Include data in View and select V2 as Apply locks to view. 5.? Export this ReqIF Definition to ReqIF format. 6.? Import the ReqIF file in an AWAY database OR you can import the same into any other new DOORS Project of the existing DB. 7.? You would observe in the newly created Module (created from Importing the ReqIF file) the attribute A1 is not editable. Workaround: --------------- Instead of exporting the definition as ReqIF format, export it as RIF format.
