How do you determine the IBM JRE version supplied with IBM Rational Rhapsody?
Cause
You wish to know the IBM JVM compatibility of a particular Rhapsody version.
Answer
You can query this by:
- Opening a command prompt / terminal
- Changing directory to the Rhapsody\JRE\bin folder of your chosen Rhapsody installation.
For example,
cd c:\Rhapsody8.1.4\jre\bin
- Check the version of the JRE
For example,
java.exe -version
The following IBM JRE versions locally installed are:

* 64bit IBM Rhapsody releases install the 64bit counterparts of the corresponding JRE version
