Error description
1.Version (with iFixes and TestFixes). Environment: windows 7 Product name: IBM? Rational? Business Developer Program Version : 8.5.1 2.Problem Description. Things that you have tried to resolve. Deploying and running HTML associated with RUI application does not implement a reusable function correctly. Its observed that when accessing specific menu options at runtime the application produces incorrect display of associated tabs where for instance there are no labels attached. The same application works well, displays correct tab options when implemented via the debugger or RUI preview mode. Development have identified the fundamental cause of this defect concerns a function 'openPage' in ContentManager that is not working as designed where a 'string out' parameter is not updated accordingly after a function call causing incorrect, incomplete JavaScript to be generated for the deployment operation.
Local fix
Problem summary
In RBD 8.5, 8.0.1.5 and 9.0, RUI program does not update the out parameter value correctly when the function with out parameter and the parameter value is changed in the return statement.
Problem conclusion
The problem is fixed.
