APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
Abstract: Attempts to halt the debugger at breakpoints which were set in a Python file contained in a different folder from the calling program will fail. Problem: For example if /folder01/s1.py calls /folder02/s2.py and s2.py has a breakpoint set then that breakpoint will be ignored. Breakpoints in /folder01/s1.py are, however, honored. No errors are shown: the breakpoint is simply ignored. Local fix: No workaround is currently known on Windows 2008 and Windows XP where the problem has been confirmed to exist. This problem does not occur when using the Window 7 platform.
