Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When chosing to create a server and select JRE 1.7, the profile created when the launches the Profile Management Tool from Window ? Preferences ? Server ? WebSphere Application Server ? Run Profile Management Tool, will be the default JRE (which is 1.6). As a result, there is a mismatch between the selected server JRE version and the created profile.
Problem conclusion
The profile will be converted to the selected JRE level once the Profile Management Tool has successfully created the profile. The fix for this APAR is included in Rational Application Developer v8.5.5.1.
