Error description

  • The following issues are addressed in this APAR:
    1) For DB2 versions below V10, specifying Group Partition By
(GPB) = "S" or "J" with LISTDEF results in message HAAB377I
being displayed at job build time. HAAB377I should not be
displayed since LISTDEF does not support more than one
PARTLEVEL number. New message HAAB366W will be displayed
instead (HAB366W Group Parts By for REORG TS turned off
because DB2 Vnn LISTDEF does not support more than one
PARTLEVEL number. LISTDEF overrides grouping of partitioned
      objects).
    .
    2) For DB2 versions below V10, specifying Group Partition By
      (GPB) = "S" or "J" with Process Dependent Indexes = "N" and
      LISTDEF = "N" results in:
    a) display of message HAAB377I at job build time.
      b) multiple REORG TABLESPACE control statements, which causes
       multiple REORG of NPIs.
    .
The fix will produce a single REORG TABLESPACE control statement
and NPI reorg will be minimized. Message HAAB377I will be
displayed and the single REORG TS control statement will support
    that message.
