Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Load Balancer for ipv4 users on Redhat 5 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Request for kernel support for * * 2.6.18-308.20.1 * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The Load Balancer for ipv4 is kernel intrusive. Everytime you upgrade the kernel for Linux, the Load Balancer for ipv4 needs to provide a corresponding kernel extension in order for the executor module to work. This dependency can be avoided by using the Load Balancer for ipv4 and ipv6 which is not kernel intrusive.
Problem conclusion
Fix applies to the Load Balancer for ipv4 only. Fix levels : 8.0.0.6 fix pack following 8.5.0.2
Temporary fix
