Headline: Numeric field are not checked and truncated abstract: Attempts enter some digits with Rational Business developer result in error_description: Numeric field are not checked and truncated when enter some digits followed by something that's not allowed in a number. Example : Type '55.55' and the decimal symbol is a comma. So we accept the first two digits, and stop at the period. it will display '55,00'. workaround: Correct the entry

Problem summary
The problem happens when a user enters a value into a numeric field of a text form. If the user enters some digits followed by something that's not allowed in a number, for example "123hello", then EGL acts like they had only typed the digits. The input is taken as 123 and no error message is given.
