This APAR is correcting the following issues:
1.The Z/os Tracker may report that the CEX journal manager
FUNJRN01 has issued the DADSM OBTAIN macro. The CEX journal
manager does not support the CEX journals on EAV volumes.
2.The TDB limit of 64 writers needs to be expanded.
3.An 0C4 can occur in module FUNTSKI Estae routine if the SDWA
is located in Key 0 storage. The SETRP macro is issued in Key 7
4.Module FUNMSGK did not treat a message LL consistently and
    could cause a garbled message.
5.FUN2216 - Duplicate command found - contains a trailing low
value at the end of the command name.

Problem conclusion

  • The following changes have been made for the above issues:
    1. Changed the CEX journal manager FUNJRN01 to support EAV
    volumes.
    2. Changed limit of TDB writers to 512.
    3. Changed the Estae routine in FUNTSKI to issue SETRP macro in
Key 0 when the SDWA is in key 0.
    4. Corrected module FUNMSGK to treat the message LL in a
    consistent manner.
    5. Corrected message FUN2216 to remove the trailing low value.
