Error description

  • Possible CKZ27105E in DB2ALTERBSDS SLB-START command when
    current active log has a start RBA of zero.

    CKZDYN01E Syntax error in value of DSName -1

    CKZ27105E ALLOCATION FAILED FOR DSN:

    Also corrected:

    Possible CKZ27110E in DB2ALTERBSDS SLB-START command when the
    high written RBA is less than the starting RBA of the current
    active log.

    CKZ27110E ERROR ACCESSING ACTIVE LOG; DDNAME: SYS00001 R15=0008
    ERROR=032 FUNCTION=POINT LOC=VLV11
    CKZ27110E RBA OF RECORD: FFFFFFFF_FFFFF000

Local fix

  • For CKZ27105E, do a -ARCHIVE LOG on the source DB2 systems so
    the current active log has a start RBA that is not zero. Then
    do a BACKUP SYSTEM and rerun the cloning.
    For CKZ27110E, stop and start the source DB2 systems so the
    high written RBA is in the current active log.Then do a BACKUP
    SYSTEM and rerun the cloning.
