PM78148: REORG OF NPI NOT SUPPRESSED WHEN TABLESPACE REORGED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When building a reorg job that includes both a tablespace reorg
  utility and an index reorg utility in the Utility Profile, an
  index reorg of an NPI (non-partitioning index) may be included
  even though a partition(s) of the tablespace was also included.
  In this case, the reorg of the NPI should be suppressed because
  it is rebuilt as part of the tablespace reorg.  This only occurs
  when building reorgs at the partition level.
  

Local fix

• Remove the index reorg utility from the Utility Profile.
