How do you implement the Full Authorization Reversal Only option in IBM Sterling Order Management System?
Cause
You want to implement the following:
- Full Authorization Reversal should happen on the Card when the order is fully cancelled.
- If the Order is partially cancelled then there shouldn't be any Authorization Reversal happening on the Card.
Answer
Out of the box available authorization reversal options does not meet this requirement as this is very unique and 'only reverse when the complete order is cancelled' is not supported in out of the box product implementation.
Workaround:
To implement this in the product, you will have to mark as either enable Do not reverse or Reverse when expired and then implement the solution with recordExternalCharges API on order cancel.
