SE29685: WDSC-RSE-DSU-CHARACTERS ENTERED IN LOWER CASE IN PF FORMMAT AS "FRED" THE SYNTAX CHECKER ACCEPTS BUT FAILS AT COMPILATION TIME.

APAR status

• Closed as unreproducible in next release.

Error description

• If customer enters in lower case in PF formmat as "fred", syntax
  checker
  accepts it but fails when compiled.
  Keying in upper case the same "FRED", it's accepted by the
  syntax
  checker and compiles with success.
  

Local fix

• Go into
  "Windows-->preference-->Remote Systems-->Remote Systems LPEX
  Editor-->iSeries Parsers--> DDS" and check "Automatic
  uppercasing"
  
  Then the lower case will be changed to upper case automatically.
  
  The syntax checker will be fixed.
