Error description

• Program Restart Facility for IMS is being changed to reduce the
  chance that a U3625 abend can occur for a BMP being restarted if
  the BMP had been previously cancelled via the /STOP REGION
  ABDUMP command.

  *                 without using the IMS/STOP REGION ABDUMP     *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a BMP is terminated via the /STOP  *
  *                      REGION ABDUMP command, PRF does not     *
  *                      always have confirmation that the       *
  *                      previous CHKP call has completed. The   *
  *                      result can be getting U3625 user abends *
  *                      when the job is restarted later.        *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  When a BMP is terminated via the /STOP REGION ABDUMP command,
  PRF does not always have confirmation that the previous CHKP
  call has completed. The result can be getting U3625 user
  abends when the job is restarted later.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been modified to correct the described problems.
  In addition, this APAR updates documenation in the User's
  Guide.
