Question
How do you add coments to Guard field of IBM Rational Rhapsody Statechart Diagarm.
Cause
Rhapsody won't interpret or check the info added in guard filed of Statechart. If adding comments in guard field could cause compile error of generated source files.
Answer
- Comments of guard could be added into [Description] tab of transition feature dialogue. In result, the comments is appearing at the previous line of condition code line.
You could modify property value of [Lang]_CG::Transition::DescriptionTemplate to customize the comments format.
- You could add comments on the same line of Guard info, see below example.
[NOTE]
- Above info is also applied to Flow Chart in Rhapsody model.
- Comments info right before condition code line(guard info) won't be reversed into [Description] tab of transition but the info would be included into implementation code of functions/operations.
- Enhancement request asking for CG/RE support of comments on the same line of condition code.
