Attempts to open IBM Rational Rhapsody project import wizard in Eclipse results in "com.ibm.rational.rhapsody.platformIntegration.ui was unable to load class...bundle...ui 385" error.

Symptom

The full error message is as follows:
The selected wizard could not be started. Plug-in com.ibm.rational.rhapsody.platformIntegration.ui was unable to load class com.ibm.rational.rhapsody.platformintegration.ui.wizards.ImportResourceWizard. An error occurred while automatically activating bundle com.ibm.rational.rhapsody.platformIntegration.ui (385)The full error message is as follows:

Cause

Currently known to be one or both of the following:

Corrupt Eclipse workspace
Mismatched Rhapsody/Eclipse architecture

Resolving The Problem

Procedure for all known causes:

Switch Eclipse to a new workspace
Check that you are using matching architecture in your Rhapsody and Eclipse installations, i.e. Rhapsody 32bit and Eclipse 32bit or Rhapsody 64bit and Eclipse 64bit

Notes:

Rhapsody version information can be found in the menu Help -> About Rhapsody
It is recommended that you only use Rhapsody 64bit if you have specific memory requirements. For more details please refer to Features not available in the Windows 64-bit version of Rational Rhapsody 8.0.3 and later
