Troubleshooting


Problem

CWXRS0003W will be generated into SystemOut.log during server startup if dynacache service is disabled.

Symptom

CWXRS0003W might be generated into SystemOut.log while starting the server.

Even if the warning message is observed, the server will start successfully.

Cause

This warning occurs because the dynacache service is disabled on the environment but some applications which use the dynacache service are still running.

Resolving The Problem

Enable dynacache service with the following steps.

Servers > WebSphere application servers > [server_name] > Container Services > Dynamic cache service

Enable "Enable service at server startup".


If you have any reason to disable the dynacache service, then you explicitly turned it off for all applications on the server.


Disabling the dynacache service affects everything on the server. For example, the admin console reports CWXRS0003W. The warning can be ignored, but the console may not be using a cache.
