Error description
In a customer supplied testcase it was observed that a character that should had been displayed as 'a' (for example) was displayed as 'x'.
Local fix
Problem summary
Customer will see plus + at the start if the test program allocates lot of malloc memory and fills with + sign, and frees them.
Problem conclusion
Fixed the problem by replacing malloc to calloc, so that pages are zeroed out after allocting memory
