Chained Order Listener configured in sales order is not listening to cancelled status of Purchase order execution

Troubleshooting

Problem

In a sales order pipeline, a chained order listener is configured to listen to the statuses in Purchase order execution. However, it is unable to listen to few statuses, for instance option to listen to 'cancelled' status is unavailable

Cause

Another chained order listener might be configured which is already listening to cancelled status of Purchase order execution

Resolving The Problem

In a pipeline configuration, if there are multiple chained order listeners, then, not all can listen to the same statuses for the same pipeline. To be more specific, let’s assume there are two chained order listeners – Listener-A and Listener-B configured in sales order pipeline, and both are listening to statuses in the Purchase order execution, then if Listener-A is already listening to one particular status (say its listening to ‘cancelled’ status) then Listener-B cannot listen to the same (‘cancelled’) status. All such statuses which are already in use by Listener-A are unavailable for Listener-B.

If this issue is ever encountered, one should look for redundant listeners which might be knowingly or unknowingly listening to a particular status.
