Do referenced ARXML files automatically get imported when the main ARXML file is imported into IBM Rational Rhapsody?

Answer
No, Importer does not import other ARXML files during the Import of an ARXML file even if it contains references to those files. At most, these references will just be imported as stub elements and will be resolved only after the other files are exclusively imported.
The ARXML file does not contain the storage location or information of the references in the file but just the reference.
Note: Import operation can be done for one file or many files using a .lst file that lists many files or multi-select, all in the same operation.
