HY000 errors in IBM InfoSphere Guardium aggregator after restoring configuration

Problem

After restoring configuration in IBM InfoSphere Guardium aggregator or Central Manager/Aggregator you get either or both of the following errors: [] [

  • ]ERROR 1031 (HY000) at line 1: Table storage engine for 'GUARD_USER_ACTIVITY_AUDIT' doesn't have this option [
  • ]ERROR 1031 (HY000) at line 1: Table storage engine for 'AGGREGATOR_ACTIVITY_LOG' doesn't have this option[

Resolving The Problem

This condition can occur if the configuration backup was taken from an aggregator that has had aggregation done. This can result in a temporary mismatch in the internal databases in the target system where the configuration backup was restored.

In order to resolve this, please use the GUI and do a dummy import using the "Run Once" mechanism.
