How do you customize the Welcome Screen in IBM Rational Rhapsody?

Cause

You would want to either change the Welcome Screen completely or just modify by adding text/links to it in IBM Rational Rhapsody.

Answer

To change the Welcome Screen completely:

You can create your own Welcome Screen (html files) by replacing the location listed under the [WelcomeWizard] header with the location of the new html file inside the rhapsody.ini file.

Note: rhapsody.ini file can be found in the Rational Rhapsody Installation folder.

To customize the Welcome Screen by adding links/text:

In order to customize the Welcome Screen by adding text / links, you would need to make changes in the 'welcome.htm' file which is present in

<<Rhapsody Installation>> \WelcomeWizard\EN\welcome.htm.
