How to import images from a Rational DOORS requirement module to Rational Rhapsody

In order to import images from a Rational DOORS requirement module to Rational Rhapsody using the Rational Rhapsody Gateway, apply the steps below:

1. Launch Rational Rhapsody
   
   
2. Open the desired model
   
   
3. Right-click on <Project_name> at the top and select Rational Rhapsody Gateway > Open
   
   
4. Open the Gateway configuration window by navigating to the menu option File > Edit Project
   
   
5. Select the desired DOORS requirement document in the Gateway Configuration window
   
   
6. Choose Variable category Capture Diagrams and set the Value to True (checked)
   
   
7. Click Apply and OK
   
   
8. In the Rational Rhapsody Gateway navigate to Coverage Analysis View
   
   
9. Select the UML model type as Rhapsody
   
   
10. Select Tools > Add high level requirements
    
    
11. In the Add high level requirements window, navigate to the Advanced tab and check the option Add images
    
    
12. Click OK
    
    
13. In the Rational Rhapsody model, navigate to the desired Requirement and locate the Hyperlink added to the requirement containing the imported image
    
    
14. Double click the Hyperlink to view the image
