Error description
DS4000 disks which were previously managed by the fcparray/RDAC driver now show up as "MPIO Other DS4K Array Disk". This is observed after installing one of the following updates: VIOS 2.1 Fixpack 22/22.1 VIOS 1.5 Fixpack 11.1 SP2 AIX 6.1 TL04 base AIX 6.1 TL03 SP3 AIX 5.3 TL11 base This occurs if SDD PCM is also installed on the system, but not managing the DS4000 storage. This may also cause disk access errors if the system is in a clustered environment, as the reserve_policy attribute is changed back to the default of "single_path".
Local fix
Use the "manage_disk_drivers" command to switch back to the fcparray driver.
Problem summary
53 disks coming up as MPIO instead of fcparray.
Problem conclusion
The scripts look for model_name after the new odm has been installed. model_name does not exist in the new odm. That test will be remmoved.
