Troubleshooting
Problem
Caching Proxy Version 8.0.0.0 might not install correctly on some Solaris systems, because the installation process for GSKIT did not complete successfully during Caching Proxy's post-installation configuration.
Resolving The Problem
To resolve this problem, install Caching Proxy Version 8.0.0.2 from the live repository or a local repository.
- Install from the live repository. Configure Installation Manager to connect to the following repository to install the product:
http://www.ibm.com/software/repositorymanager/com.ibm.websphere.EDGECP… - Install from a local repository:
- Obtain a local copy of Caching Proxy Version 8.0.0.0. You must have the version of the product that was originally released on media or procured through the IBM Packaging Utility.
- Obtain a local copy of Caching Proxy Version 8.0.0.2. You can download this through Fix Central for the product.
- Configure Installation Manager to connect to your local repositories for both Version 8.0.0.0 and Version 8.0.0.2 of the product.
