Error description
Enhancements are made to add internal Destination MAC Address caching across multiple data transfers. In addition, both inbound and outbound I/O Interruption processing is streamlined to reduce the number of interruptions required to support a high bandwith network data transfer. Also, corrected errors in DETACH VSWITCH and IVL VSwitch & Takeover processing.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of z/VM Virtual Switch (VSWITCH). * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY PTF * **************************************************************** Internal testing revealed base areas where improvements could be made as well as prevent z/VM ABENDs from occurring for rare timing situations. - Moved from a local MAC Address cache to a persistent cache spanning multiple data transfers to the same destination, and reducing the amount of time to resolve the destination port for a data transfer. - Reduced the number of Adapter Interrupts presented to the guest for an incoming data transfer. - Fixed an HTT001 ABEND that may occur when detaching a VSwitch with a port group (LAG) that had outstanding LACP Marker tasks in flight. - Fixed an HTT001 ABEND that occurred when performing failover testing for a global VSwitch with a shared LAG when IVL Takeover logic was processing.
