Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere MQ for z/OS Version 7 * * Release 0 Modification 1 and Release 1 * * Modification 0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When attempting to list channels via * * the WebSphere MQ Ops and Control * * panels, the panel may terminate with * * "Error running CSQORLST, line 2159: Bad * * arithmetic conversion" * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When listing channels in the Ops and Control panels (CSQOREXX), if multiple receiver instances are present for a given channel (e.g. a cluster receiver) and some of those channels are in a PAUSED state, then the panel may terminate with the following error: 2159 +++ actchn = actchn + 1 1966 +++ call updtsumm 294 +++ call Buildpanel 229 +++ call DisplayList Error running CSQORLST, line 2159: Bad arithmetic conversion
Problem conclusion
When attempting to correlate multiple instances of the same named channel, the code does not anticipate that some of the instances might be in a PAUSED state. Processing has been amended to ensure that channels in a PAUSED state are correlated correctly. 010Y 100Y CSQORLST
