How to Receive or Inventory Adjust Items with Alternate UOM ?
Answer
User cannot create shipment and receive with alternate UOM. As per OOB
system behavior:
1. When a shipment is created with Item I1 and UOM as
EACH, then system validates if there is a unique item present with this
combination.
2. Similarly for shipment created with item I1 and UOM as
say PALLET/CASE, then system checks if Item I1 present with base UOM as
PALLET/CASE.
This goes for adjust inventory as well.
