Question & Answer
Question
How to gracefully shutdown the agent/integration servers?
Answer
When agent/Integration server is stopped, JNDI entries are cleaned. This operation is guaranteed to run if System Management Console (SMC) is used.
However, killing the server from command prompt may result in stale
JNDI entries. Thus, it is not advisable to kill server by command prompt. If
you choose to kill via the command prompt, to avoid stale JNDI entries, run
jndicleanup.cmd/jndicleanup.sh script after killing the server to clean up the
JNDI tree.
