How is ExpectedDeliveryDate calculated when YFSGetExternalAvailabilityUE is implemented?

Question & Answer

Question

How is ExpectedDeliveryDate calculated when YFSGetExternalAvailabilityUE is implemented?

Answer

The ExpectedDeliveryDate (or ETD on OrderLine schedule details on Console) is read from /Assigment/@MinDeliveryDate attribute in the YFSGetExternalAvailabilityUE output, and is not based on the DeliveryDate attribute. The ExpectedDeliveryDate would be the earliest date the item can be delivered i.e. MinDeliveryDate.

In most scenarios, the DeliveryDate set would be the earliest date the enterprise would be able to deliver the item. Hence DeliveryDate is expected to be same as MinDeliveryDate i.e. the earliest date the item can be delivered.

To summarize, when YFSGetExternalAvailabilityUE is implemented, the <a>/Assignment/@MinDeliveryDate of the UE output determines the ExpectedDeliveryDate of the Order Line schedule.
