How to trigger Item based Allocation for ONHAND inventory?
Answer
ONHAND inventory within a warehouse does change when there is an unexpected loss to inventory or inventory goes to HELD status for some quality check operations.
To trigger the Item Based Allocation, one needs to activate the event "INVENTORY_CHANGE.SUPPLY_CHANGE".
Now in the event handler definition, one can call the API manageItemBasedAllocationTrigger for that item node and pass the flag IBARunRequired="Y".</ span>
