Problem
getPossibleSchedules not returning appropriate assignment for backordered lines
Symptom
- An order has multiple lines
- Some of the lines are released and
some are backordered
- External inventory is used and the
getExternalInventory user exit is returning quantity available for all the
backordered lines
- However, getPossibleSchedules API does not return the
correct assignment
No error is thrown.
Resolving The Problem
A fix was provided in HF101 for SCA (MCF) 7.11. As per this fix, the getExternalInventoryUE should return the Inventory Organization as the OrganizationCode. This would mean that, if "DEFAULT" is the Inventory Organization which is being considered as per the order created, the UE should return: OrganizationCode="DEFAULT".
