Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere MQ for z/OS Version 7 * * Release 1 Modification 0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Configuration event messages for ALTER * * QMGR events do not contain the * * attribute for channel authentication * * records. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When configuration events are enabled and an ALTER QMGR command is processed, the event message produced does not contain the value for the status of channel authentication records. It is expected that the event message should contain this value, under the attribute MQIA_CHLAUTH_RECORDS.
Problem conclusion
The processing has been updated, to ensure the value for MQIA_CHLAUTH_RECORDS is not omitted from event messages in this case. ========= DOC Changes for V710 Knowledge Center =============== The following page will need to be updated - >WebSphere MQ >Reference >Monitoring reference >Object attributes for event data >Queue manager attributes To add the following to the list of attributes - ChannelAuthenticationRecords(MQCFIN) Controls whether channel authentication records are used. Channel authentication records can still be set and displayed regardless of the value of this attribute. (parameter identifier: MQIA_CHLAUTH_RECORDS). The value can be: MQCHLA_DISABLED Channel authentication records are not checked. MQCHLA_ENABLED Channel authentication records are checked. 100Y CSQMQCLA
