Error description

• Abend U0385-1D as a result of a Timing issue with DRF processing
  OLR record type 2931 with multiple OLRs and multiple READERS.

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users using DRF to recover into an active    *
  *                 OLR with PITR involving multiple OLRS and    *
  *                 multiple partitions.                         *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A timing issue related to the start of  *
  *                      the 2931 record and the 2930 record was *
  *                      fixed. In certain cases the 2931 record *
  *                      was not included in the recovery        *
  *                      resulting in a U0385-1D abend. A full   *
  *                      second is now allowed between the start *
  *                      of the 2931 record and the 2930 record. *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: INSTALL CORRECTIVE SERVICE FOR APAR/PTF      *
  ****************************************************************
  This Apar fixes a timing issue which in certain cases dropped
  the 2931 record due to a timestamp check, resulting in a
  U0385-1D abend.
  

Problem conclusion

• The timestamp on a 2931 record preceeds the timestamp on the
  2930 record. In certain cases the PITR time excluded the 2931
  record which resulted in a U385-1D abend. This addresses an
  issue when recovering into an active OLR after multiple OLRs
  have completed.
