How to change the Default homepage for RCP based PCAs
Symptom
Resolving The Problem
The Sterling RCP-based PCAs need to have the ability to set a custom homepage based on user profile.
Solution: A customized homepage can be
set based on user profile when the user makes use of the
“com.yantra.yfc.rcp.YRCPostWindowOpenInitializer” extension point
and performs the following actions:
1. Opens/Closes any editor
according to the requirements in the extension plugin.
2. Sets this
home action: [YRCPlatformUI.setUserHomeAcionId()].
3. Fires this
action: [YRCPlatformUI.fireAction()].
