However, an MQOPEN fails with 2085 MQRC_UNKNOWN_OBJECT_NAME. Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere MQ for z/OS Version 7 * * Release 0 Modification 1 and Release 1 * * Modification 0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Attempting to define a shared queue, * * after it has been previously deleted * * may fail with message CSQM090E and * * reason code X'00D44003', and message * * CSQM095I stating it already exists, if * * connectivity to DB2 was lost during the * * delete processing of the shared queue. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** If during the delete processing of a shared queue, the DB2 connection is lost prior to object being deleted from DB2, the local objects are still deleted. When the DB2 connection is re-established, an IVSA is created for the object that still exists in DB2. When DB2 resync processing is performed, the deletion of the object occurs, but the newly created IVSA remains. This results in future defines for a similar object to fail as this control block exists, but the queue cannot be accessed as the rest of the required objects have been correctly deleted.
Problem conclusion
DB2 resync processing has been updated to ensure a remaining IVSA is deleted, when the DB2 object also deleted, allowing the object to be redefined. 010Y 100Y CSQEDB2R CSQIDDEL CSQILEPL CSQMOAQ1
