Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere MQ for z/OS Version 7 * * Release 1 Modification 0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Active shared channels incorrectly * * shown as INACTIVE on 'LIST CHANNELS' * * panel CSQOLCA when 'Action queue * * manager' is not the same as * * 'Target queue manager'. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When listing channels, panel CSQOLCA determines the list of channels to display, and the associated channel status. If 'Action queue manager' is used to display channels running on a queue manager in the queue sharing group, other than the queue manager specified in 'Target queue manager', the command issued by the panels only returns the status of non-shared channels on that queue manager. As a result when the channels are displayed, any shared channels are incorrectly shown as INACTIVE.
Problem conclusion
CSQORLST is changed to correctly determine the status of both shared and non-shared channels running on the 'Action queue manager' when displaying the 'List Channels' panel. 100Y CSQORLST
