Problem
WMS: Break LPN causes the system to cancel tasks for the shipment.
Symptom
Resolving The Problem
This feature was introduced in 7.11 that when an LPN is getting destroyed or deleted we need to do the following.
- Cancel all tasks that are in Open
and Suggested statuses.
- Complete all the tasks that are in InProgress
status.
This was done so that the user does not get error messages if accidentally he tries to execute the left over tasks (with LPN stamped which was destroyed)We cannot allow an error message while breaking LPN if tasks are open/sugg. because, in our system Break LPN takes priority over Task Execution. Inventory movement can happen by creating new/other tasks, hence we don't save tasks when an LPN is destroyed.
