C3R - Using the OP & OQ override routing

Troubleshooting

Problem

C3R - Using the OP & OQ override routing

Symptom

This is regarding the usage of C3R - OP & OQ override values and the way the behavior is altered based on the usage option chosen.

Resolving The Problem

The OP & OQ override routing is controlled by the customer location information "852 setup" option. The OP/OQ override option is defaulted to "Not use as overrides". This means that the OP & OQ values received on the 852 will be routed to a reference table and not appear on the active item screen nor be used to control replenishment. The values can be viewed on a location report under the overrides report menu. The reference values can also be transferred to the active items' override by using the OP/OQ Transfer function under the Order Tuning menu at the location.

When the OP/OQ Override option is checked to "Use as overrides", the reference table loading will be bypassed and the 852 override values will flow directly to the active item override and impact the replenishment with those values. Then the override values will appear on the active items screen with a date range determined by the system setup Date Overrides settings.
