CDP v2.1 2019 4Q CONTINUOUS DELIVERY UPDATE Added Features: - New SMF type support: SMF 98 subtype 1; - NetView SMF 38. - New Support collection of RMF III DELAY, PROCU and SYSINFO reports. - Enhance configuration tool to select all data streams to subscribe with one click and show the protocol associated with a subscriber on the canvas. Key Defects Fixed: - SMF records result in Json Parse Failures when running CDP 2.1 to ELK 7.3 (71160) - Liberty configuration tool install, savingpolicy.sh uses the path to the working directory (PWD) as a source to copy CDPUIServer.war and fails: EDC5129I No such file or directory. (71176) - exception occurs when running manageUserExit.sh at CDP 2.1 level (71354) - SDE does not flag syntax error on COLLECT statement (66791) - SDE takes an excessive amount of time to terminate (70750) - SDE abend in the module HBOPLOOU when collecting SMF30 (71181) - Errors the new CDP 2.1 SHBOSAMP(HBOSMF) (71296)

Packets are getting split out into separate data events coming into Logstash which is treated as invalid data. - During liberty configuration tool install, savingpolicy.sh uses the path to the working directory (PWD) as a source to copy CDPUIServer.war and fails: EDC5129I No such file or directory. The savingpolicy.sh assumes that the path to the working directory ($PWD in the shell script) is the installation directory, but the documentation does not specifically instruct the user to change to that directory prior to running. - Exception occurs when running manageUserExit.sh at CDP 2.1 level. The manageUserExit.sh needs an update as of CDP 2.1 that includes the DEPS directory in class path. - SDE does not flag syntax error on COLLECT statement. SDE needs to flag syntax error on COLLECT statement to notify the customer. - SDE takes an excessive amount of time to terminate. When there is a high rate of SMF records and an MVS STOP command is issued, the main task will get noticed immediately and post the sub task to terminate. - SDE abend in the module HBOPLOOU when collecting SMF30. SDE will be updated to handle the invalid null characters inserted in the user-defined LOOKUP table. - Errors the new zCDP V2R1 SHBOSAMP(HBOSMF). HBOSMF sample job will be updated to be consistent with the User Guide.
