Problem
Cognos: CNC-SEC-3403 and CAM-AAA-0146 errors when executing custom reports
Symptom
When Cognos is installed and configured, the credentials entered are valid for a year (for out-of-the-box Cognos configurations).
After a year when changes in the configurations are made and saved, errors CNC-SEC-3403 and
CAM-AAA-0146 are seen on the console when the custom reports are executed.
Resolving The Problem
1. Launch Cognos as a standalone application.
2. In the portal toolbar, click Preferences.
3. On the General tab, in the Credentials box, click Create credential.
4. A list of entries appear.
5. Select the users, groups, or roles you want to authorize to use the logged on user's credentials.
6. Click Add and OK
