WMS: OMP10079 'Quantity greater than the allowed over shipment percentage limit' error while packing the shipment

Resolving The Problem

Probable Reason:
Order status not in synch with the shipment status, caused because of new listeners configured in the order pipeline.

Sample example:

• Listener L1 is configured to listen to 'Shipment Packed status' of the shipment pipeline.
• L1 is added to the Sales order pipeline. Pickup status is 'Included in shipment' and drop status is 'Shipment Packed'. Shipment Packed status is extended status of Included in Shipment.
• L1 is connected to Ship Shipment transaction.
• Shipment is packed. Order status and Shipment status both are in Shipment Packed status.

Now, in few scenarios, if unpacking is done, Shipment status moves to previous status i.e. Sent To Node from Shipment Packed.
However order would remain in Shipment Packed status since there is no transaction / listener to move the order status back.

If the user tries to pack the same shipment again, error will be thrown.

System looks for order line quantity corresponding to the shipment line Sent To Node status. But since the order is in the Shipment packed status, system tries to add another line corresponding to the Shipment status. With over shipment percentage not defined, system fails with the OPM100079 error.
