Problem

Sterling Ant script needs to be used when building COM PCA.

Symptom

In MCF 8.0, to deploy COM PCA, run the application-specific ant script with the appropriate ant target as needed. For example, if you want to deploy the Sterling COM PCA, run the The ant file contains multiple ant targets to generate the deployable folder for all unique combinations of the Operating System and Application such as buildCOMForWindows, buildCOMForLinuxGTK, buildSOPForWindows, and so forth. For example, if you want to deploy the Sterling COM PCA on Windows, run the following ant script from the ant target:ant -f bin/buildcomapplication.xml buildCOMForWindows. You will get error message running the ant.

/interface/yantra/Sterling/Foundation/bin/buildcomapplication.xml:19: taskdef class com.yantra.pca.ycd.tools.ant.taskdefs.YCDUpdatePropTask cannot be found

Resolving The Problem

The issue is sterling ant script need to used instead of Ant from Apachi.
The sterling ant script is <install_dir>/bin/ant.sh. Classpath is defined in this file to include all jars that are needed to build the target.
